1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Roquet K Renaissance platform ("Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and members.

2. Description of Service

Roquet K Renaissance provides an online career preparation and workforce readiness training platform designed to empower communities — especially those with limited access to traditional educational resources — through practical, skills-focused learning. We are here to help you prepare, grow, and launch into the career you've been working toward.

Our training is designed to build the knowledge and confidence you need to pursue official certifications, employer-sponsored training programs, and professional opportunities. Think of us as your preparation partner — we get you ready so you can walk into what's next with your head held high.

Our services include:

• Career preparation courses with structured lessons, AI narration, and achievement certificates
• Community Playbook — real-world guides, scripts, templates, and life navigation tools
• Roquet Radio — curated worldwide radio streaming

3. User Accounts

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You must provide accurate and complete information during registration.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account at (678) 606-4906.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulations.
• Post or transmit harmful, abusive, harassing, or offensive content.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Platform.
• Reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit any Platform content without permission.
• Upload malware, viruses, or any other harmful code.
• Misrepresent your identity or impersonate another person.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform — including courses, audio, scripts, guides, branding, and software — is the property of Roquet K Renaissance and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws. You may use Platform content solely for your personal, non-commercial learning purposes.

6. Training Purpose & Certification Disclaimer

Roquet K Renaissance is a career preparation and workforce readiness training platform. Our mission is to equip learners — especially those facing the greatest barriers to opportunity — with the foundational knowledge, skills, and confidence they need to pursue their chosen profession and take their next bold step forward.

We believe that preparation is power. The training we provide is designed to give you a strong, meaningful head start — so that when you walk through the door of your next employer, training program, or official certification body, you are already equipped, informed, and ready.

Please note: Roquet K Renaissance is not currently accredited by, affiliated with, or approved by any national or state licensing body, professional certification organization, or regulatory agency. Our courses are preparatory training resources and are not a substitute for official licensing exams, accredited degree programs, or employer-required certifications.

The certificates issued by Roquet K Renaissance upon course completion are internal recognition certificates awarded based on demonstrated progress and passing assessment scores. They are intended to celebrate your achievement and demonstrate your commitment to growth — and may be presented to employers or training programs as evidence of self-directed learning and preparation.

Official industry certifications, licenses, or credentials are typically obtained through accredited institutions, employer-sponsored programs, or professional certification bodies. We proudly help you prepare for that journey — and we're with you every step of the way.

Looking ahead: Roquet K Renaissance is actively working to establish partnerships and seek recognition from reputable professional organizations and accrediting bodies. Our goal is to continuously grow the validity, credibility, and impact of what we provide — because our learners deserve nothing less. We are committed to that pursuit and will communicate milestones as they are achieved.

6a. Medical, Emergency & Safety Content Disclaimer

Roquet K Renaissance provides educational and preparatory content only. Our courses on topics such as Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) preparation, healthcare, nursing, first aid, and related fields are designed solely to introduce learners to concepts, terminology, procedures, and factual information that can help them pursue official training, employment, or certification programs.

No content on this platform — including lessons, narrations, quizzes, guides, or AI-generated materials — constitutes clinical instruction, professional medical advice, or authorization to perform any medical or emergency procedure.

By engaging with any health, safety, or medical content on this platform, you explicitly acknowledge and agree that:

• Roquet K Renaissance does not authorize, license, or certify any user to perform CPR, administer medications, manage airways, provide patient care, or carry out any other medical or emergency procedure.
• All medical and emergency procedures — including but not limited to CPR, airway management, medication administration, and patient assessment — must only be performed by individuals who hold a valid, current license or certification issued by a recognized governing body (such as the NREMT, a state EMS authority, the American Red Cross, the American Heart Association, or equivalent).
• Information presented in our courses reflects general educational content and research-based facts intended to give learners a knowledge foundation — not hands-on clinical competency.
• Real-world application of medical and emergency skills requires in-person, supervised, hands-on training under qualified instructors, which this platform does not and cannot provide.
• Roquet K Renaissance, its founders, staff, instructors, and affiliates bear no liability whatsoever for any outcomes resulting from the misapplication of any information presented on this platform in a real-world setting.

Our goal is straightforward: we prepare you to succeed in the programs and careers that will give you the proper, authorized training you need. We believe that a learner who arrives at an EMT program, a nursing school, or an employer's orientation already familiar with foundational concepts, terminology, and protocols will have a measurably better experience — and a stronger chance of success — than one who arrives with no preparation at all.

That is the purpose of Roquet K Renaissance. We are your preparation partner — and we take that responsibility seriously.

6c. Capstone Assessment & Attempt Policy

Each Roquet K Renaissance course culminates in a Capstone Assessment — a timed, proctored final exam that verifies genuine mastery of the course material. A certificate of completion is issued only upon passing the capstone with a score of 80% or higher. This policy applies equally to all learners, regardless of whether they access the platform through a subscription or an individual course purchase.

This policy applies identically to subscribers and individual course purchasers. The certification standard is the same regardless of how a learner accesses the platform.

6d. Assessment Design Standards & Research Justification

Roquet K Renaissance's assessment framework — including knowledge checks and capstone assessments — is built on established principles from educational measurement, psychometrics, and mastery learning theory. The design choices documented below are not arbitrary; they reflect decades of research on effective assessment practices in adult learning, workforce training, and professional certification. This section serves as the formal justification for our assessment parameters.

A. Passing Threshold: 80% for Capstone Assessments

The 80% passing threshold for capstone assessments is consistent with widely used standards in professional certification, workforce training, and competency-based education. Research and industry practice support this benchmark for the following reasons:

• Professional certification precedent: Major credentialing bodies in healthcare, trades, and professional services typically set cut scores between 75% and 85%. For example, the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX) uses a computer-adaptive passing standard that approximates 75–80% competency. The American Red Cross CPR certification requires approximately 80%. The National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET) uses 70–80% depending on level. Our 80% threshold aligns with the upper-mid range of these established standards.
• Mastery learning theory: Bloom's mastery learning framework defines "mastery" as correctly answering 80% or more of assessment items. Below this threshold, a learner is considered to have partial understanding but not demonstrable mastery. Our capstones are designed to certify that mastery has been achieved.
• Summative vs. formative distinction: Research in educational measurement (Crocker & Algina, 1986; Cizek, 2012) establishes that summative assessments — those that gate a credential or certification — should employ higher cut scores than formative assessments, which serve a learning-feedback function. A higher threshold on the capstone ensures that the certificate represents verified competence, not mere participation.
• Workforce readiness: Employers hiring for roles in skilled trades, healthcare support, and office administration expect a demonstrable command of foundational material. An 80% threshold ensures that certified learners can reliably apply course concepts in real-world settings, strengthening the credibility of the certificate with employers and training programs.

B. Passing Threshold: 70% for Knowledge Checks

Knowledge checks — the lesson-level quizzes administered after each lesson — use a 70% passing threshold. This lower threshold is intentional and is supported by formative assessment research:

• Formative purpose: Knowledge checks are formative assessments. Their primary purpose is to reinforce learning, identify gaps, and guide the learner's review — not to gate a credential. Research consistently supports lower cut scores (65–75%) for formative assessments to encourage engagement and reduce test anxiety (Black & Wiliam, 1998; Hattie & Timperley, 2007).
• Learning reinforcement, not exclusion: A 70% threshold allows learners to progress through course material after demonstrating reasonable comprehension, while still requiring more than guessing. At 4 of 5 correct (80%), a learner who merely guesses on a 4-option multiple-choice question has a probability of passing by chance of approximately 0.4%. At 70%, the probability of passing by pure guessing remains negligible.
• Progressive rigor: The difference between 70% (knowledge check) and 80% (capstone) creates a progressive rigor model. Learners build confidence through accessible formative checks, then face a higher bar for certification. This scaffolded approach is well-supported in adult learning research (Knowles, 1984; Vygotsky's Zone of Proximal Development).

C. Knowledge Check Length: 5 Questions per Assessment

Each knowledge check consists of five (5) questions. This length was selected based on research on optimal formative assessment design:

• Reliability vs. length tradeoff: Psychometric research (Frisbie, 1981; Lukin et al., 1984) demonstrates that formative assessments with 4–6 items provide sufficient reliability for lesson-level feedback without inducing test fatigue. Below 4 items, measurement error becomes unacceptably high; above 7, engagement and completion rates decline with marginal gains in reliability.
• Content coverage: Five questions allow coverage of the lesson's major learning objectives — typically 2–3 core concepts tested with direct questions and 2–3 tested with applied/scenario-based questions. • Completion time: At approximately 45–60 seconds per question, a 5-question knowledge check completes in 4–5 minutes. Research on adult learner attention (Knowles, 1984) supports keeping formative assessments under 5 minutes to maintain engagement and avoid disrupting the learning flow.
• Guessing probability: With 5 four-option multiple-choice questions, the probability of passing at 70% (4 of 5 correct) by random guessing is approximately 0.4%. This ensures the threshold meaningfully distinguishes learners who studied from those who did not.
• Frequency advantage: Shorter, more frequent assessments are more effective for long-term retention than fewer, longer assessments. The testing effect (Roediger & Karpicke, 2006) demonstrates that retrieval practice — the act of recalling information during a quiz — strengthens memory more than re-reading or re-studying the same material. Five-question checks after every lesson maximize this benefit.

D. Capstone Length: 12–15 Questions per Assessment

Each capstone assessment contains between 12 and 15 questions. This range was selected to balance psychometric reliability, content coverage, and testing time constraints:

• Psychometric reliability: Research on internal consistency reliability (Cronbach, 1951; Nunnally, 1978) demonstrates that assessments with 10 or more items achieve acceptable internal consistency (Cronbach's alpha ≥ 0.70). At 12–15 items, our capstones meet or exceed this threshold, ensuring that scores reflect genuine knowledge rather than measurement noise.
• Comprehensive domain sampling: A capstone must assess the full scope of a course, not just one module. With 12–15 questions distributed across all modules, each major learning domain receives 1–3 questions. This follows the principle of content sampling established by Messick (1989) — the assessment must be representative of the construct it claims to measure.
• Professional certification precedent: Professional certification exams vary widely in length depending on scope. Module-level certifications (analogous to our single-course capstones) typically range from 10 to 30 questions. The NICET Level I exams use approximately 10–15 questions per module. Our 12–15 range is consistent with these established norms for module-level competency verification.
• Testing time management: At 2–3 minutes per applied-knowledge question (which may include scenario analysis, reference review, and deliberation), a 12–15 question capstone requires 24–45 minutes. Our 45-minute time limit accommodates the upper bound of this range, ensuring learners have adequate time without the assessment becoming a test of endurance.
• Guessing probability at 80%: With 12 four-option questions, the probability of achieving 80% (10 of 12 correct) by random guessing is effectively zero (less than 0.001%). With 15 questions, the probability is similarly negligible. This ensures that passing the capstone requires genuine knowledge, not chance.
• Bloom's Taxonomy coverage: The 12–15 question range allows capstones to assess across multiple cognitive levels per Bloom's framework: approximately 40% recall/comprehension questions, 40% application questions, and 20% analysis/evaluation questions. This distribution aligns with professional assessment design standards for competency-based exams.

Roquet K Renaissance reserves the right to adjust assessment parameters (question counts, thresholds, time limits) for individual courses or future course versions as educational research evolves. Any changes to passing thresholds will apply prospectively only and will not affect learners who have already completed or are currently in-progress on an assessment cycle. The current parameters will always be reflected in this section of the Terms.

6e. Workplace Scenarios — Applied Learning Methodology

Between the completion of lesson content and the administration of the knowledge check, each lesson includes a Workplace Scenario — an interactive, real-world decision point that presents learners with a practical situation related to the lesson material and asks them to choose the best course of action from multiple options. This feature is a core component of the Roquet K Renaissance curriculum design and serves a distinct pedagogical purpose that complements — but does not replace — the formative and summative assessments described above.

Why Workplace Scenarios Are Included

The inclusion of scenario-based learning is supported by established research in adult education, cognitive psychology, and workforce training:

• Situated Cognition Theory: Research by Brown, Collins, & Duguid (1989) established that knowledge is most effectively acquired and retained when it is embedded in the context in which it will be used. Abstract facts taught in isolation are frequently forgotten; the same facts taught within a realistic scenario are remembered and applied. Workplace Scenarios situate lesson content in the learner's target work environment, bridging the gap between theory and practice.
• Experiential Learning: Kolb's Experiential Learning Theory (1984) defines learning as a four-stage cycle: concrete experience, reflective observation, abstract conceptualization, and active experimentation. Workplace Scenarios provide the "concrete experience" and "active experimentation" stages that traditional lecture-style content cannot. By placing the learner in a simulated decision-making role, the scenario activates the full learning cycle and deepens comprehension.
• Case-Based Reasoning: Research in cognitive science (Schank, 1999; Kolodner, 1993) demonstrates that human memory organizes knowledge around cases — specific situations and the outcomes of decisions made in them. When learners encounter a similar situation in real life, they retrieve and apply the nearest matching case. Workplace Scenarios populate the learner's memory with relevant, career-specific cases that can be drawn upon when facing analogous decisions on the job.
• Transfer of Learning: A persistent challenge in workforce training is the "transfer problem" — the difficulty learners face in applying classroom knowledge to real-world tasks. Research by Perkins & Salomon (1992) identifies contextualized practice as one of the most effective strategies for promoting near and far transfer. By rehearsing decisions in simulated workplace contexts, learners develop the mental pathways needed to apply course concepts in actual job settings.
• Decision-Making Under Uncertainty: Real workplace decisions rarely present as clean, multiple-choice questions. They involve ambiguity, competing priorities, and incomplete information. Workplace Scenarios are designed to introduce mild complexity — situations where the "correct" answer requires judgment, not just recall — preparing learners for the nuanced decision-making their careers will demand.
• Reduced Anxiety Through Rehearsal: Research on simulation-based training in healthcare and aviation (Issenberg et al., 2005) shows that learners who practice decisions in low-stakes simulated environments experience significantly lower anxiety and higher performance when facing the same decisions in real life. Workplace Scenarios provide this low-stakes rehearsal opportunity before the higher-stakes knowledge check and capstone.

Not every lesson includes a Workplace Scenario. Scenario inclusion is determined by course design teams based on whether the lesson content lends itself to a realistic, meaningful decision point. Lessons that are purely informational or conceptual may omit the scenario component. The presence or absence of a scenario in any given lesson does not affect the assessment parameters described in Section 6d.

6f. Minimum Reading Period — Knowledge Check Unlock

Before a lesson's Knowledge Check (the formative quiz at the end of a lesson) becomes accessible, the learner must spend a minimum of two (2) minutes engaged with the lesson content. During this brief window, the Knowledge Check button remains visibly locked and displays a live countdown timer showing exactly how much time remains. The quiz unlocks automatically once the reading period is satisfied — no manual action is required.

This reading period applies only to knowledge checks (formative, lesson-level quizzes). It does not apply to capstone assessments, which have their own attempt and cooldown policies described in Section 6c. The duration of the reading period may be adjusted by Roquet K Renaissance as course design and learner feedback evolve; the current duration will always be reflected in this section.

7. Community Standards

Our community spaces (Chat, etc.) are meant to be safe, respectful, and empowering for all members. We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate community standards, including hate speech, harassment, spam, or off-topic commercial promotion.

8. Subscription & Billing

Access to Roquet K Renaissance is provided on a subscription basis. By subscribing, you agree to the following pricing terms:

• Introductory Rate: $9.99 for the first 15 days of your subscription.
• Standard Monthly Rate: $14.99 per month beginning on day 16 and every month thereafter.
• There is no free trial. Your card will be charged $9.99 at the time of signup.
• Subscriptions renew automatically each month at the standard rate of $14.99 unless cancelled.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle — no refunds are issued for partial months.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with at least 30 days' notice to active subscribers.

8a. Military, First Responder & Educator Discount Program

Roquet K Renaissance is proud to honor those who serve — in uniform, in classrooms, and on the front lines. We offer a 10% discount on all subscription plans to verified members of the following groups. This is our way of saying thank you.

Accepted Verification Documents

Our bar is intentionally low — we trust you. You simply need to provide one of the following:

• Military: Current or expired military ID card (Common Access Card / CAC), DD-214 discharge papers, veteran ID card, or any official military service document showing name and branch.
• First Responder: Active badge, department-issued ID, EMS certification card, law enforcement credential, or official employment letter from a public safety agency.
• Educator: State-issued teaching certificate or license, school-issued faculty ID, educator credential card, or official employment letter from an accredited school or district.

How the Verification Process Works

1. Visit /verify-first-responder from your account or the Pricing page.
2. Select your credential category (Military, First Responder, or Educator).
3. Enter your ID number or credential number (any official number on the document).
4. Upload a photo or scan of your credential. Only one image is required.
5. Submit. Our team will review your submission within 24 hours.
6. Once approved, your 10% discount is automatically applied to your next billing cycle.

Additional Terms

• The discount is applied going forward — it is not retroactive to past billing cycles.
• The discount cannot be combined with other promotional codes or offers unless explicitly stated.
• Submitting false, altered, or fraudulent credentials to obtain this discount constitutes a violation of these Terms and may result in immediate account termination and loss of access without refund.
• Your uploaded credential image is stored securely and used solely to verify your eligibility. It is never shared with third parties and is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
• Roquet K Renaissance reserves the right to request re-verification if a credential has expired or if there is reason to believe eligibility status has changed.
• The discount remains active as long as your subscription is active and your verification remains on file. There is no expiration on approved verifications unless re-verification is requested.

8b. Graduate Services — Additional Fees

Roquet K Renaissance offers optional post-certification services through our Graduate Services program. These services are available to verified certificate holders and are charged separately from any subscription. All fees listed below are current as of the last-updated date above and are subject to change with reasonable notice.

All Graduate Services fees are one-time charges processed through our secure payment provider. These fees are separate from and in addition to any active subscription. Fees are non-refundable once the service has been fulfilled. We reserve the right to update these fees at any time; the current schedule will always be reflected in this section of the Terms.

8c. Subscription Plans, Billing Cycles & Refund Policy

Roquet K Renaissance offers the following individual subscription plans. By selecting and paying for any plan, you agree to the specific billing terms described below.

Available Plans

• Intro Offer — $9.99 (one-time): A 7-day introductory access period charged once at signup. Does not auto-renew. After 7 days, continued access requires selection of a recurring plan.
• Monthly — $14.99/month: Billed every 30 days. Automatically renews each month until cancelled. You may cancel at any time; access continues through the end of the paid period.
• Quarterly — $39.99/quarter: Billed every 90 days. Automatically renews each quarter until cancelled. Saves approximately 11% compared to paying monthly. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current 90-day period.
• Annual — $129.00/year: Billed once every 12 months. Automatically renews annually until cancelled. Saves approximately 28% compared to the monthly rate. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current annual period.
• Lifetime — $499.00 (one-time): A single, non-recurring payment granting permanent access to the Platform for the duration of its operation. See the Lifetime Access definition below.

Auto-Renewal Disclosure

Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual plans renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle. You will be charged the then-current rate for your selected plan on your renewal date. Roquet K Renaissance will provide at least 30 days' notice before any price increase takes effect for active subscribers. You may cancel your auto-renewal at any time through your account settings or by contacting us.

Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation stops future charges but does not terminate your access mid-cycle — you retain full access through the last day of your paid period. Cancellation requests must be submitted before your next renewal date to avoid being charged for the following cycle.

Refund Policy

• Intro Offer: Non-refundable. This is a one-time access charge.
• Monthly: Non-refundable for partial months. Cancel before your next billing date to avoid future charges.
• Quarterly & Annual: Refund requests submitted within 7 days of the initial charge (not renewal charges) will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. After 7 days, no refunds are issued for unused time in the current cycle.
• Lifetime: Refund requests submitted within 14 days of purchase and prior to accessing more than 3 lessons will be honored. After 14 days or meaningful use of the Platform, Lifetime purchases are non-refundable.

8d. Lift a Learner — Sponsored Access Program

Roquet K Renaissance operates a Sponsored Access Program — marketed under the name "Lift a Learner" — through which individuals, organizations, philanthropists, and community groups may fund platform memberships on behalf of third-party recipients who would not otherwise have access.

Sponsor Responsibilities

• Sponsors are responsible for identifying and confirming the identity of intended recipients prior to submitting a sponsorship request.
• Sponsored memberships are non-transferable once assigned to a specific recipient account.
• Sponsors may not use the program to circumvent standard pricing for personal or commercial benefit.
• Sponsors who misrepresent the nature or purpose of a sponsorship may have their arrangement terminated without refund.

Recipient Rights & Dignity Policy

• Recipients of sponsored memberships receive identical platform access to all paying members. There is no differentiated experience, reduced access, or visible "scholarship" designation within the Platform.
• Roquet K Renaissance will not disclose to a recipient the identity of their sponsor without the express written consent of the sponsor, unless required by law.
• Recipients are subject to the same Terms of Service, Community Standards, and cancellation policies as all other members.

Refund & Cancellation of Sponsored Memberships

• Sponsored membership funds are non-refundable once a recipient account has been activated and access has been granted.
• If a recipient voluntarily cancels or violates Terms resulting in termination, the remaining unused sponsored period is forfeited. Sponsors may request reallocation of unused funds to a new recipient at Roquet K Renaissance's discretion.
• Organizational and endowment-level sponsorship terms are governed by a separate written agreement executed between the sponsor and Roquet K Renaissance.

Tax & Financial Disclaimer

Roquet K Renaissance is a for-profit company. Sponsored Access contributions are payments for services rendered, not charitable donations, and are generally not tax-deductible as charitable contributions under U.S. tax law. Sponsors seeking tax deductibility should consult a qualified tax advisor regarding structuring options. Roquet K Renaissance makes no representations regarding the tax treatment of any sponsorship payment.

9. Third-Party Services

The Platform may link to or integrate third-party services (e.g., Radio Browser API, Open Library, LibriVox, Project Gutenberg). We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party services. Use them at your own discretion.

10. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Roquet K Renaissance does not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses. Educational content is for informational purposes and does not constitute legal, financial, or professional advice.

10a. AI-Generated Content & Verification Requirements

Roquet K Renaissance is committed to providing research-based, accurate educational content. However, we use artificial intelligence (AI) throughout our platform — including for audio narration, script generation, content summarization, and knowledge assistance — as part of our content creation and delivery framework.

AI systems, while powerful, can produce inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading information. AI may:

• Generate plausible-sounding but factually incorrect details or statistics
• Misinterpret source material or lesson content in subtle ways
• Produce outdated information if trained on older data
• Make logical errors despite appearing confident in its output

We strongly recommend that you independently research, verify, and cross-reference all information presented on this Platform — especially before:

• Using information in a real-world application (medical, technical, legal, etc.)
• Making decisions based on platform content
• Citing information in official documentation or to employers

Roquet K Renaissance works diligently to audit, review, and correct errors as they are discovered. However, we cannot guarantee that all AI-generated or AI-assisted content is 100% accurate. Your independent verification strengthens your learning, deepens your understanding, and ensures you are truly prepared for real-world application.

12a. Word Garden Voice Practice Feature — Recording Policy

The Word Garden feature on this Platform includes an optional voice practice function that allows users to record themselves reading or speaking a word or sentence aloud for personal self-evaluation.

Your privacy is fully protected. Here is exactly what happens with your recording:

• In-memory only: All voice recordings made through the Word Garden practice feature are stored exclusively in your device's temporary browser memory (RAM). They are never written to disk, never uploaded to any server, and never transmitted over the internet.
• Never saved or retained: Roquet K Renaissance does not collect, store, access, process, or retain any voice recordings made through the Word Garden feature — at any time, under any circumstance.
• Automatically cleared: Your recording is automatically and permanently deleted the moment you navigate away from the page, refresh the browser, or close the application. No action is required on your part.
• No biometric data collection: Because recordings are never transmitted or retained, we do not collect voice prints, biometric identifiers, or any audio data derived from your voice.
• No save option: The Word Garden voice practice feature intentionally does not offer an option to save or share recordings. This is a deliberate design choice to protect your privacy and ensure the experience remains completely private.
• Microphone access: Your browser will request microphone permission before you can use this feature. You may deny this permission at any time without affecting any other feature on the Platform. Granting microphone access is voluntary and can be revoked through your browser settings at any time.

The sole purpose of the voice practice feature is to allow you to hear how you sound saying a word or sentence — a proven technique for vocabulary retention and pronunciation confidence. It is a tool for your personal growth, and what you say stays entirely with you.

13. Community Spotlight & Promotional Use

Roquet K Renaissance celebrates the achievements of its members through a voluntary Community Spotlight program. Upon completing a lesson or course, members may be asked if they wish to be recognized. This recognition is strictly opt-in.

• If you provide consent, your first name only and your accomplishment (e.g., "completed the Nursing Assistant Prep course") may be featured on our community ticker, community chat, social media pages (including Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn), newsletters, or promotional materials.
• We will never publish your last name, email address, phone number, photograph, or any other identifying personal details without separate written consent.
• Consent is non-exclusive, royalty-free, and worldwide for the purpose of community recognition and promotion of the Platform.
• You may withdraw your consent at any time by updating your preference in your profile settings. Withdrawal will prevent future spotlights; it does not guarantee removal of content already published.
• Participation in the Spotlight program has no effect on your subscription, course access, certificates, or any other rights under these Terms.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify users of material changes via the Platform or email.
